The body of work Neville Mars has achieved in the last ten years is both diverse and highly characteristic. The projects he has initiated range from architecture, urban design, documentaries, art installations, urban research and creative writing. His work is widely published and presented in numerous lectures and his installations have featured in international art exhibitions across the world. The red thread that runs through his work is a deep passion for the metropolis; from the beginning at OMA until today as creative director of the Dynamic City Foundation (DCF) in Beijing ( http://dynamiccity.org ).

Dynamic City Foundation (DCF) 动态城市基金会
In 2003 Neville founded the DCF and outlined the comprehensive research project Urban China 2020. In a broad team of specialists the rapid urbanization of China is studied and proposals are designed specifically to work under pressured urban dynamics. The first three years of the project focused on Beijing and the North China region will be published february 2008 entitled “The Chinese Dream – a society under construction” (010 Publisher Rotterdam). After the publication the work will continue to evolve and expand on http://BURB.tv ; the world’s first open-source design platform dedicated to the understanding and enhancement of China’s cities.

何新城在过去十年的作品丰富多样而极具个性。他发起的项目跨越了建筑设计、城市规划、纪录片、装置艺术、城市研究以及文字创作等领域。他的作品得以广泛发表，并多次受邀展示其作品并发表演讲，他的装置作品在世界各地的国际艺术展上得以瞩目。从他始于大都会建筑师事务所（OMA）到今天担任北京互动城市基金会（DCF）的创意主任，贯穿其所有作品的是他对都市的热情。

动态城市基金会 Dynamic City Foundation (DCF)
何新城于2003年建立了动态城市基金会，并设计了综合的研究项目——城市中国2020。在来自不同领域的专家的合作下，中国迅猛的城市化得以在动态城市的范畴内得以研究并提出建议。该项目起始三年对北京及中国北方的研究成果将在2008年二月以《中国梦——一个建设中的社会》的书名由010鹿特丹出版社出版。在书出版之后，项目将在 http://BURB.tv 上继续。Burb.tv 是全球第一个为理解并改进中国的城市所搭建的开放性平台。
