Who am i?
Professor of communication and Director of the Institute for Communication Arts and Technology (iCat) at Hallym University, Korea. Teaching and research interests cover mobile communication, media policies and industry, transnational media culture, etc. Served as visiting professors atSciences Po, France; Dartmouth College, US; Uiversity of the Philippines; Macquarie University, Australia; American University, US. Will teach courses on Korea's media culture at Peking University in the spring of 2008. Articles appear in Perpetual Contact(Cambridge), When Mobile Came(CommBooks), Mobile Democracy(Passagen Verlag), Handbook of Mass Media in Asia(Sage), Contemporary Television(Sage). The iCat is widely open to researchers interestd in Korean media and communication.
